Why Evangelical?

Fulltime students of Grove City College are invited to submit papers discussing some aspect of Church history, theologically, politically, socially, etc.  Submitted papers may be written specifically for this program or written for another class (i.e. the humanities core). If papers are written for another class, we ask that you make your professor's suggested corrections before submitting your discussion paper. Only one paper per student is permitted.

Requirements

Papers should...

  • Be scholarly in nature; they may have thesis, but a thesis is not necessary so long as thoughts are coherent, well organized, and properly argued from evidence; book reviews are also welcome, though discouraged
  • Preferably be regarding an historical controversy or debate
  • Be between 5-8 pages in length
  • Include a title page and works cited
  • Include an outline

Submission Instructions: Please submit your papers from a Grove City College email account (@gcc.edu) on or before 21 December 2009 to discussions@evangelicalconference.org. Papers submitted after that date cannot be accepted.
